Early Life and College Career
Jordan Poole was born on June 19, 1999, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Rufus King International High School in Milwaukee, where he played basketball for four years. Poole was a four-star recruit and committed to playing for the University of Michigan.
Poole played for the Michigan Wolverines for two years, from 2017 to 2019. In his freshman year, he played in all 41 games and averaged 6.0 points per game. In his sophomore year, he played in 37 games and averaged 12.8 points per game. He was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team in his sophomore year.
Golden State Warriors
Poole was selected as the 28th overall pick by the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Draft. He signed a rookie contract with the team in July 2019. Poole made his NBA debut on October 24, 2019, in a game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Poole had a rocky start to his NBA career, struggling with his shooting and consistency. However, he showed flashes of brilliance, including a game-winning three-pointer against the New Orleans Pelicans in March 2020.
2020-2021 Season
